In celebration of the 91st National Book Week, the Book Lovers Club of General Santos Doctors’ Medical School Foundation, Inc. successfully held a community outreach program last November 7, 2025.
The activity, spearheaded by Ms. Jacquiline Alcibar, RL, our OIC-Asst. Head Librarian, together with the Book Lovers Club members, brought smiles and learning to the children of Darimco Day Care Center and Calubihan Day Care Center.
The outreach featured storytelling sessions, interactive games, and the distribution of school supplies, and foods, all aimed at promoting the joy of reading and nurturing children’s imagination and curiosity. Through this initiative, the group sought to inspire young learners to discover the magic of books and the value of education.
Truly, the event reflected the spirit of National Book Week, celebrating literacy, learning, and community engagement.
