FRESHMEN AND TRANSFEREES’ ADMISSION PROCESS
Pre-Enrollment (Steps 1–2)
Step 1: Online Application
  • Access the AIMS Portal.
  • Create your AIMS account.
  • Save your username and password for login and status checks.

Notes:
1. No AIMS Account, No Exam.
2. Video tutorial : How to Create AIMS Account
3. GSDMSFI SHS graduates and previous applicants with an AIMS account do not need to reapply.
4. Forgot your login details? Message us via GSDMSFI Facebook Page.
5. Complete the Google Form (link to be provided) and note your chosen exam date. Once submitted, your exam appointment is automatically confirmed.

Step 2: Entrance Exam and Interview

In-Campus (GSDMSFI):

  • Report to the Guidance Office by 8:00 AM with:
    • 1 pc. 2×2 or passport-size photo
    • 1 photocopy of school ID or any valid ID
    • Mongol #2 or HB pencil
    • Black ballpen

Notes:
The exam starts at 9:00 AM. Latecomers will be rescheduled.
Interviews are usually done in the afternoon. If not, passers may join any posted interview schedule on the official GSDMSFI Facebook or Guidance Office page.

Off-Campus:

  • Arrive at the venue 1 hour before the exam with the same requirements as above.

1. Exam starts at the agreed time. Latecomers will be advised to take the exam at GSDMSFI.

Step 3: Medical Examination

After passing the admission interview (reflected in your AIMS account), undergo the following tests:

CBC
1. Chest X-Ray
2. Drug Test
3. Stool Exam/Fecalysis
4. Urinalysis
5. Serum Pregnancy Test (for females)
6. Hepatitis B Screening (HBsAg)
7. Hearing Test (if recommended during the interview)
8. Other tests or medical certificate as required during the interview

Notes:

1. Medical exams should be done at GSDH Medical Arts Building OPD Laboratory (items 1–7).
2. Requests for medical exams (discounts will apply) are available at the school clinic.
3. Submit original medical results to the School Clinic before document submission.

Step 4: Document Submission

Incoming First-Year Students:

Transferees:

Step 6: Payment
  • Minimum down payment: PHP 1,500.00 (for freshmen and transferees only).
  • Pay at the Finance Office, through bank partners, or via QR code (GCash, Maya, PayPal).

After payment (For online payments and bank deposits only):
1. Take a clear photo of your deposit slip.
2. Email it to finance@gsdmsfi.edu.ph with the subject: (STUDENT NAME) PAYMENT (AMOUNT).
3. Include the following in the email body:

  • Name of Depositor
  • Name of Student
  • Course and Level
  • Amount
  • Bank
  • Date

Scholarship

School-Initiated Scholarships

A. Academic Scholarship

The school grants scholarships to deserving students on the basis of the following criteria:

1. Demonstrated financial need
2. Character
3. Academic performance

The following are the academic scholarships available:

For Valedictorians and Salutatorians (with a minimum of 100 graduates), a qualifying test result of Stanine 6 and above can avail the 30% discount from their tuition (for valedictorian) and 20% (for salutatorian) during the first semester of their first year of stay at GSDMSFI.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Dean’s List is composed of students who have excelled academically and have not been involved in any disciplinary action for grave misconduct.

The conditions to qualify for the Dean’s List are as follows:

2.1. No subject is dropped during the semester;
2.2. A minimum load of 18 units for full-time students, except for those in their final academic year;
2.3. Computation includes grades in PE, NSTP, Physics 0, and Chem 0;
2.4. A grade of 2.0 or better in every subject;
2.5. A general average of 1.25 with no grade lower than 1.75 for Highest Honors;
2.6. A general average of 1.75 or higher with no grade lower than 2.0 for High Honors.

Guidelines on Availment:

The Dean’s List Discount is applied every semester. Once the Dean’s List has been finalized and endorsed by the Registrar’s Office, the Scholarship Coordinator will process it immediately.
Dean’s Listers will enjoy the following discounts:

2.1. Highest Honors – 20% tuition fee discount for the following semester (excluding RLE fees);
2.2. High Honors – 10% tuition fee discount for the following semester (excluding RLE fees).
If not availed during the applicable semester, the Dean’s List Discount will be forfeited.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Loyalty Siblings Discount is applicable to any bona fide SHS and College students of GSDMSFI who have siblings officially enrolled during the same applicable semester.
Siblings must have the same name of mother, father, or both, as reflected in their PSA birth certificate.
If additional siblings choose to enroll in GSDMSFI, the same processes have to be followed.
The discount is not transferable to other relative.
Benefits:
A 10% tuition fee discount will be availed of by each sibling enrolled during the applicable semester. The tuition fee discount does not extend to RLE tuition, miscellaneous charges, and other charges.

Discount Duration:

The Loyalty Siblings Discount is applicable for the duration that siblings are enrolled in the school.
The Loyalty Siblings Discount is applicable entire school year.
For withdrawal or cancellation of enrollment, discount is forfeited. However, as long as there are at least two siblings enrolled in the institution, the discount remains to be granted accordingly.
Once the sibling granted with discount graduates, the other sibling’s discount is forfeited. However, as long as there are at least two siblings enrolled in the institution, the discount remains to be granted accordingly.
The school has the right to terminate the tuition fee discount if there’s a breach of school policies.

Application Process:

Application is within one (1) month after the start of classes.
Siblings must fill out the required application form available in the Guidance Office.
Siblings must also submit the following documentary requirements to the Guidance Office through the Scholarship Coordinator:
3.1 Certified true copy of the siblings’ PSA birth certificate.
3.2 Photocopy of the parent’s valid identification cards or any government ID with three specimen signatures
The submitted documents will be reviewed and validated by the Scholarship Coordinator.
The final list of qualified students for the loyalty siblings discount will be submitted to the Accounting Office for processing of the tuition fee discount.
The application process is only available once, if there are additional siblings enrolled, all siblings must apply and follow the guidelines.

Government - Sponsored Scholarships

A. EduKar Gensan Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Filipino citizen.
Must be a resident of General Santos City for at least three (3) years prior to the start of the school year.
Must be a registered voter of General Santos City. For applicants who are not yet of legal age, at least one parent/guardian must be a registered voter of General Santos City.
Must possess good moral character.
Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship or educational financial assistance.
Must not be a graduate of any degree program.
Must have an academic weighted average of at least eighty percent (80%) with no failing grade in any subject during the last two semesters.

Benefits:
Financial assistance will cover the actual total assessment per semester, but not more than ₱20,000.00. If the total assessment for a semester exceeds ₱20,000.00, the excess will be shouldered by the scholar.

Application Process:
The EduKar Scholarship is exclusively for residents of General Santos City (GenSan). Interested students should apply directly to the EduKar Gensan Office. Applicants are advised to regularly follow the official Facebook page of EduKar Gensan (CMO-Aklat/EduKar Gensan) for announcements and updates regarding the scholarship.

CHED UniFAST TES is a grant-in-aid program that supports the full or partial cost of tertiary education of priority students in SUCs, CHED recognized LUCs and private higher education institutions (HEIs).

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for TES, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be a Filipino citizen.
Must be enrolled in a CHED-recognized Higher Education Institution (HEI) — State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), or Private HEIs — and in a program listed in the CHED Registry.

Note: General Santos Doctors’ Medical School Foundation, Inc. (GSDMSFI) is a CHED-recognized HEI with a valid Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with CHED UniFAST-TES, and therefore can cater to TES applicants who are enrolled in the institution.

Must not have any previous undergraduate degree.
Must not be overstaying in their program (must be within the maximum residency period plus a one-year grace period, if applicable).
May qualify for additional benefits:
TES 3A – Additional support for UniFAST-TES scholars who are also Persons with Disability (PWD).
TES 3B – One-time reimbursement for board/licensure exam takers who are former UniFAST-TES scholars.

Benefits:

Regular Benefits:
For Private Higher Educational Institution (PHEI) – P27,000.00 per academic year

Additional Benefits:
TES-3A (Person with Disability) – P10,000.00 per academic year
TES-3B (Board/Licensure Exam Takers) – P8,000.00 (one-time reimbursement)

Application Process in GSDMSFI:
The applicant must be enrolled in any program offered by the institution.

The applicant must wait for official announcements from the Scholarship Coordinator (Guidance Office) regarding UniFAST-TES application openings.

The applicant must accomplish the TES application form through the Google Form link provided via official group chats (GCs) or Schoology.

The Scholarship Coordinator will submit applications through the TES Portal. Students do not need to apply directly to UniFAST or CHED offices.

Applications will be assessed by CHED UniFAST-TES based on their guidelines and prioritization criteria (e.g., Listahanan, 4Ps, household income, geographic location). Note: Not all applicants may qualify due to limited slots and funding.

After verification and approval, CHED UniFAST-TES will notify the Scholarship Coordinator.

The Scholarship Coordinator will inform the qualified scholars and process the required supporting documents (e.g., Certificate of Enrollment, PWD ID, receipts, etc.) for submission to the CHED-UniFAST Regional Office for validation and final approval.

If approved, UniFAST-TES scholars will receive the subsidy for the applicable semester or academic year.

For additional/special benefits (TES-3A or TES-3B), scholars must comply with additional requirements such as receipts, a letter of intent, proof of exam fees, or valid PWD identification.

The CHED Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) is one of the flagship financial assistance programs offered by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for Filipino students. It is under the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST).

Benefits:
Scholars typically receive ₱7,500 per semester or ₱15,000 per academic year (amount may vary depending on budget allocation and guidelines).

Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Filipino citizen.
Must be a senior high school graduate or currently enrolled in any CHED-recognized Higher Education Institution (HEI). A minimum passing grade is required.
Must belong to a household with an annual gross income not exceeding ₱400,000 (special consideration for those slightly above with proper justification).
Must possess a good moral character – Certification from the school or barangay.
No Existing Scholarship – Applicants cannot be recipients of other full government scholarships.

Application Process:
Interested applicants may inquire at the Guidance Office, visit the Congressional District Office in their area, or directly visit the CHED XII Regional Office for inquiries.
Applicants may also follow the official Facebook page of CHED XII or the official Facebook page of their respective Congressman for updates regarding application guidelines, requirements, and deadlines.
Applications must be personally submitted to the Congressional District Office in their area.

The CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) is a competitive scholarship initiative of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) that aims to support academically talented and deserving Filipino students. This program is intended for incoming first-year college students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and strong potential for excellence in higher education.

Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Filipino citizen.
Senior High School graduate with a minimum General Weighted Average (GWA) of 93% or its equivalent:
For the Full Merit Program, a GWA of at least 96% is required.
For the Half Merit Program, a GWA of 93% to 95% is required.
The combined annual gross income of parents or legal guardian must not exceed Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱500,000.00).
Must enroll in a CHED-recognized priority program in a Private Higher Education Institution with Government Recognition (GR) or a State University/Local University College with a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
Must not be a recipient of any other government-funded financial assistance program.

Benefits:
For private higher education institutions:
Full PESFA – ₱120,000.00 (per academic year)
Half PESFA – ₱60,000.00 (per academic year)

Application Process:
Interested students should apply directly to their respective CHED Regional Offices. It is advised that students regularly follow the official Facebook page of their CHED Regional Office for announcements and updates regarding the CHED Merit Scholarship.

The scholarship program shall be accessible to qualified and deserving coconut farmers and/or their families duly registered under the National Coconut Farmers Registry System.
The program shall cover undergraduate students who will enroll or currently enrolled in agriculture, agricultural engineering, agribusiness management, agricultural economics and other courses identified by the PCA.

Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Filipino citizen.
Graduating senior high school student/senior high school graduate with a general weighted average grade (GWA) of 80% or its equivalent or college student with earned academic units relevant to the degree programs identified by PCA with a GWA of 80% the previous semester or its equivalent.
Pass the entry level requirements of identified State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).
Must not be a recipient of any government-funded financial assistance program.
Duly registered coconut farmer in the NCFRS or his/her dependent.
Must have a combined annual gross income of parents not exceeding ₱300,000.00.

Benefits:
Regular Assistance – P80,000.00 per academic year
Other Assistance (one time allowance for thesis/OJT, one-time financial assistance for the purchase of a laptop computer, and one-time assistance for attendance in local for a/conference). – P115,000.00

Application Process:
Interested students should apply directly to their respective CHED Regional Offices. It is advised that students regularly follow the official Facebook page of their CHED Regional Office for announcements and updates regarding the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho).

The Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-in-Aid Program provides financial assistance to financially disadvantaged students who wish to pursue higher education in South Cotabato schools and colleges. It is one of the flagship programs of the Provincial Government aimed at ensuring educational equity among its constituents.

Eligibility Criteria for the Degree Courses Scholarship Program:

Must be a bona fide resident of South Cotabato, residing in their respective barangay for at least one (1) year prior to application; must also be a registered voter, if qualified, with parent/s or guardian/s who are registered voters therein.
Must be of good moral character, as certified by the school last attended.
Must not have any pending or resolved disciplinary, administrative, civil, or criminal case in any school, barangay, or court of law.
Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship grant, except when the grant is awarded by reason of academic honors conferred upon graduation. Academic scholarships or tuition discounts subsequently earned by being on the dean’s list, or by being a school honoree due to excellent academic performance, will not disqualify the scholar from the program.
Must not be related to any member of the committee within the third (3rd) civil degree of consanguinity or affinity.
Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85 or higher, except for Persons with Disability (PWD), members of Indigenous Peoples groups, Muslims, or Solo Parents, who may qualify with a GWA of at least 80.
Must belong to a family with an annual gross income not exceeding ₱500,000.00, except for applicants who have brought honor to the province.
Must enroll in any of the priority courses prescribed under Section 7, paragraph (a) of Provincial Ordinance No. 20, Series of 2014.
Must be a first-year enrollee in any private or state university/college within South Cotabato and General Santos City, or in any state university/college elsewhere in the Philippines; and must not have had any previous college education, regardless of graduation status.


Benefits:
Financial assistance varies depending on the category in which the applicant qualifies. For specific benefits, applicants may personally inquire at the Kabugwason Paglaum Office or visit their official Facebook page.

Application Process:
Interested students should apply directly to the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship Office in Koronadal City. Applicants are advised to regularly follow the official Facebook page of Kabugwason Paglaum for announcements and updates regarding the scholarship program.
