The General Santos Doctors’ Medical School Foundation, Inc. (GSDMSFI) warmly welcomed delegates from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) for a benchmarking visit held on September 3, 2026, at the GSDMSFI Campus in General Santos City.

The visit provided an opportunity for GSDMSFI to share its institutional practices, experiences, and approaches in health sciences education with the visiting delegation. It also served as a venue for meaningful exchange and dialogue between the two academic institutions as SKSU conducts a feasibility study for the proposed opening of several allied health programs.

The SKSU delegation was composed of Vincent Louie D. Cabelin, PhD, Lead of the Technical Working Group; Rowenie Cynthia T. Non, RMT, MSMT, Vice Lead and Program Head of Medical Technology; Cesar III J. Nallos, RN, MAN, Dean of the College of Health Sciences; Dr. Iril I. Panes, RN, Program Head of Nursing; Mark F. Onia, MPsy; Graciela Lou M. Nallos, RN, MAN; Mandy A. Delfin, RMT, MSMT, and Mr. Rasul Kusain.

During the visit, GSDMSFI had the opportunity to engage the delegation in discussions on relevant academic and institutional practices, providing insights that may contribute to SKSU’s planning and development of its proposed health and allied programs.

The activity likewise strengthened the spirit of collaboration between higher education institutions, underscoring the importance of knowledge-sharing and professional exchange in advancing the quality of healthcare education.
