LOOK: GSDMSFI Conducts Fire Drill in Collaboration with Fire Department

General Santos Doctors’ Medical School Foundation, Inc. (GSDMSFI) reinforced its commitment to campus safety and emergency preparedness through a fire drill conducted yesterday September 12, 2025 in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Students, faculty, and staff actively participated in the drill, which simulated an emergency evacuation procedure across campus. The BFP team closely observed and assessed the exercise, providing feedback on evacuation time, crowd management, and safety compliance. Their guidance ensures that the institution continuously improves its protocols in alignment with national fire safety standards.

This collaborative effort underscores the school’s proactive approach to safety not just as a compliance measure, but as a core institutional value that protects the well-being of its students and employees.

With the support of the Bureau of Fire Protection, GSDMSFI continues to build a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring that its community remains both protected and prepared.
